Beretta 686 White Onyx

As an avid skeet shooter, I have recently had the wonderful experience of shooting a new Beretta 686 White Onyx.  As a semi-automatic shooter with limited experience in shooting an over and under, this was an entirely new thing for me.  Now before I get pitched under the bus for not including all the specs or that kind of thing, understand I am not a professional, just a guy that loves to shoot.

Let me first begin by saying that this is a visual appealing gun.  Opening the blue plastic case,  it was like being a 5 year old at Christmas opening the latest GI Joe.

YOUTH FISHING DAY

Cold was the word of the day, damp air and a north wind could not stop the youth fishing day sponsored by the Texas Parks and Wildlife, assisted by the Hopkins County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and in conjunction with the Buster Family Foundation. This 20 plus year tradition at the Sulphur Springs City Park was a true success judging by the smiles and laughter of our future hunting and fishing enthusiasts. (more…)
