Got to pass this info to our customers. We found a new product for the up coming season, we will be receiving our first one for review shortly. Time lapse video(TLV) this camera is designed to trigger every 5 to 10 seconds producing a short video from dawn to dusk without the requirement of the game triggering the device. No more guessing games, it also records at a greater distance than a typical camera and allows for 10 times wider ...

This has got to be one of the toughest rounds of archery you will ever shoot. The name of the game is Archery Ironman. This is one of the shoots that we use for bragging rights. You win this game and you have obtained the right to beat your chest and cry to the heavens, " I am the man." It will be the toughest, most hair raising, and trash talking rounds of archery that you will ever shoot. This ...

One of the great things about the sport of archery is that kids of all ages can participate in the joys of shooting. It's a wonderful way for children to spend bonding with mom and dad. It is a good way to introduce children to sportsmanship, teach them the return on the investment of time spent practicing, and most importantly good family fun. For adults nothing is more entertaining that watching a group of kids standing in front of ...

As an avid skeet shooter, I have recently had the wonderful experience of shooting a new Beretta 686 White Onyx. As a semi-automatic shooter with limited experience in shooting an over and under, this was an entirely new thing for me. Now before I get pitched under the bus for not including all the specs or that kind of thing, understand I am not a professional, just a guy that loves to shoot.
Let me first begin by saying that ...

Cold was the word of the day, damp air and a north wind could not stop the youth fishing day sponsored by the Texas Parks and Wildlife, assisted by the Hopkins County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and in conjunction with the Buster Family Foundation. This 20 plus year tradition at the Sulphur Springs City Park was a true success judging by the smiles and laughter of our future hunting and fishing enthusiasts.

This is the first in a series of posts about games that you can play with a group of friends while improving your archery skills. Everyone I know who shoots regularly complains about shooting the same dots on the same targets day after day. Get out of the rut! Put excitement back into target practice! Add target games to your regular routine of shooting.

I have been asked a number of times over the past 20 plus years in the sport of archery what is the best broad head. That question has sparked a number of debates between customers in my store and it always ends up a draw.
In my opinion there is no "ONE" broad head that works on everything, yes they all cut holes, yes they are all sharp, and yes 99.9% of them will get the job done, or will they?

I have just completed my review of the Mission Voyager and all I can say is WOW! what an excellent hunting bow. I have been very impressed with the Mission line of bows from Mathews since there inception. They have proven themselves as an exceptional no frills hunting bow time and time again.
